Assemblyman John J. Burzichelli Mr. Burzichelli has never met a new tax or taxincrease that he hasn't fallen in love with. His votes over the last eight years have helped to cement NJ's reputation as the highest taxed state in the country. |

Good voting record Rep. Carter Dist 31 Texas. Has been consistent in voting conservative from a very conservative county. I will probably continue voting for him. |

Florida bill (HB 1B) SunRail I started keeping a record last week.
The bill (HB 1B) passed on a bipartisan 84-25 roll call
Evelyn J. Lynn, Florida Senator distric 7 New Smyrna Beach Area "voted yes for SunRail"
Dorothy L. Hukill Representative Fl Disrict 28 New Smyrna Beach Area "voted yes for SunRail"
Governor Charlie Crist is a strong supporter of the legislation. "vote pending"
SunRail is expected to cost $2.66 billion over 30 years.
So far I see a lack of Fiscal Responsibility.
It makes no sense for Florida or the Federal Government to spend money it does not have. |

Disgusted She votes party line. While she was on recess, she wouldn't even have a live town hall meeting for her constituates to ask questions and give their opinions. She deserves to go back to real estate. |

Sen Richard Burr--NC[R] I have been watching and communicating w/Sen Richard Burr for eight months now and have found him to be working FOR us unlike others representing the people here in North Carolina.
He has voted against the Stimulus Package and the appointment of Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, and is not supporting 'Cap and Trade' or the government Healthcare plan |

Church and State Comon Sense There is not an American that would consider having a Civil government run by the leader of a Religious movement. Henry the Eighth was both the head of the Church of England as well as the King of England. It was in this era that the repressive intrusion of "religious partisanship" developed in our mother country. This is what prompted Jefferson's statement about the Wall of Separation between Church and State. His statements concerned keeping the Government from coercing the Church and keeping the government from using the church for it's own purposes.
His comments protected the church from the influence of politics. His intention was NOT to keep the church from influencing government .By interjecting morality into the public policy debate the church serves it's obligation that it's citizenship demands and that it's spiritual mandate requires.
Separation of Church and State is not the same as Separation of Church FROM State. |

Bureaucracy I agree, there is a problem in local, state and Federal government. I have been "preaching" to family and friends for years we need another tea party. I have pointed out the true nature of the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. But, you have forgotten a huge problem and that is the bureaucracy. Do you remember when the first Bush was concerned over the rising deficit and wanted to refuse the new Air Force One? He believed the one we had was "more the sufficient" I believe were his words. Yet he was overridden by the bureaucracy NOTE EVEN ELECTED officials, just hired employees who spent the money (no small amount) regardless of the presidents wishes. We have no idea if they represent our views, yet they act on our behalf daily. I recommend everyone do a little research on the cost of allowing the bureaucracy to take care of the upkeep of the government. |

John Lewis Congressmen John Lewis GA 5th district
John Lewis votes 'YES' on 99% of Democratic proposals.
John Lewis is your typical 'TAX & SPEND' congressmen. Just recently voted against Military Spending while voting for repairing schools in the area.
John Lewis supportes those who refuse to work at the cost of the 'Tax Payer'.
John Lewis legislates from a district that need to be re-districted, because it favors, the 'black' voter. |

all the people in Congress have been tainted, they have learned to do business the D.C. way... There is no one in Washington who should be there in 6 years with perhaps some that overlap...Why? Because they are all tainted...they know Washington politics and power grabs...they write bills that are so long even they don't know what's in it. They are happy to stick their part in it. THE POINT IS THEY WILL CONTINUE THE SAME THINGS. Why because they've worked up to this point!...all incumbants need to go... Sen. Ensign has been a good man but he too needs to go...and Sen Reid has gone wild with power. |

Term Limits As we all have observed the largest problem our government has is REELECTION. When a candidate is finally elected, he immediately begins his reelection and almost always thinks and does nothing else but plan his reelection. Therefore he starts to raise funds and sometimes, nearly always, excepts funds from big contributors and sometimes unscrupulous people. In most cases he becomes a servant to them instead of the citizens that elected him/her.
If we had a system whereby a SERVANT didn't have the burden of getting REELECT they could go about the business that they were elected for.
My proposal is thus: ( basically and for federal offices only ) ONE TERM OF EIGHT YEARS,WITH A REASONABLE RETIREMENT. This should/could apply across the board with staggered terms for continuity. Salaries should not be set by congress but by a duly elected, very visible group representing all the states serving in other capacities also. I realize this idea seems radical but these are radical times and calls for radical action. It is with best intentions I respectfully submit this proposal.

PRESIDENT J.C. WATTS OF OKLAHOMA WOULD MAKE A GREAT RUNNING MATE FOR ME. IF I WERE TO GET ENOUGH BACKING HE WOULD BE A CANDIDATE FOR VICE PRESIDENT. I GREW UP IN OKLAHOMA, HAVE LIVED IN TEXAS, SOUTH CAROLINA AND NEVADA SO I HAVE A HANDLE ON THE DIFFERENT GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS OF THIS COUNTRY PLUS I KNOW WHAT A WORKING MAN/WOMAN HAVE TO PAY FOR A LOAF OF BREAD. J.C. WATTS IS HONEST AND WILL DO THE "WILL OF THE PEOPLE". GIVE ME YOUR VOTE ON NEXT ELECTION.

MO Congress People Todd Akin has a great record for the people, he one of the few that is not a lawyer. If you remember, our Founding Fathers stated that lawyers should never hold office because they were all unacceptable. See what mess we have now? LAWYERS basically run our government.
MO senator McCaskill is a Obama in a skirt. Every time I have written her office I get "Only Words" and says she will do what ever she pleases.
MO Senator Bond is good, accept on issues, I think we could do better
We also need term limits.

Comment1. J. C. Watts of Oklahoma should be encouraged to run for something. |
|
Comment2. Congressman Barney Frank (MA) is one of the primary individuals responsible for promoting the policies that caused our current real estate melt-down and finincial crisis. He must face strong opposition! |
